Your impact
At Jacobs, our Transport business provides the full spectrum of consulting services from advisory and adaptative pathway planning through to engineering design and asset management - our scientists, engineers, planners and community engagement teams work collaboratively with clients, communities, traditional owners and tangata whenua to find the right solutions to their civil and aviation challenges. We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern Transport Analytics to join our Brisbane Mobility Solutions team this summer. As part of our Transports division, you'll work alongside industry-leading professionals who use data, technology and innovation to help create smarter, safer and more sustainable transport networks.
You'll gain exposure to a variety of transport analytics and mobility projects, supporting activities such as data analysis, transport modelling, network planning, demand forecasting and mobility strategy development. From understanding travel behaviour and future transport needs to evaluating transport system performance, you'll contribute to real-world solutions that help improve the movement of people and goods.
Supported by experienced mentors, you'll be encouraged to learn, ask questions and make a meaningful contribution from day one, helping you build a strong foundation for your future career in transport analytics, mobility planning and smart transportation solutions.
Here's what you'll need
Ideally, you’re in your penultimate year at university studying Civil Engineering/Transport Engineering/Data Science. This is a unique role that requires applicants to hold the right to work in Australia. Bring your curiosity, collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfil what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together.
Our Summer Internship Program
As an Intern at Jacobs, you’ll be a valued member of our team from Day 1 and work on real projects, bids and tenders from the get-go.
