STRICTLY EXPERIENCED IKEA ASSEMBLERS ONLY – NO TRAINING PROVIDED
We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented IKEA Assemblers to join our growing team.
1. Experience (must meet at least one)
- Minimum 1+ years assembling flat-pack furniture professionally, OR
- Assembled (wardrobes, beds, cabinets, etc.)
2. Tools & Equipment
- Comfortable with wall-anchoring/mounting heavy items (wardrobes, shelving, TVs)
3. Reliability & Logistics
- Has own vehicle and valid driver's licence
- Can commit to a defined service area
- Available for flexible/short-notice bookings
4. Client-Facing Track Record
- Minimum review count threshold (e.g. 5+ completed jobs with feedback)
- Can provide 2–3 references from past clients
- No history of complaints regarding no-shows, damage, or unprofessional conduct
5. Communication & Professionalism
- Comfortable using smartphone apps for scheduling/communication
- Responds to client messages promptly and professionally
- Demonstrates clear communication in their application (pitch/cover note quality)
6. Documentation
- Valid ABN (for contractor engagement)
- Resume/CV uploaded
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble IKEA furniture including beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, shelving units, and other household items
- Follow assembly instructions accurately and efficiently
- Provide professional customer service during onsite jobs
- Safely use and maintain assembly tools and equipment
- Report any damages, missing parts, or concerns to management
