Victoria Point OSHC service, located in the heart of Redland City’s vibrant bayside community.
This well-established service operates across
Before School Care (BSC), After School Care (ASC), and Vacation Care (VAC), supporting up to
75 children across a dynamic and engaging program.
We are seeking a passionate and capable
OSHC Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of the service, guiding a dedicated team of educators to deliver high-quality care and enriching experiences for children from prep through to primary school age.
This is a
Full-Time position (38 hours) — ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment and is ready to shape a growing and diverse service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall operation of a 75-place OSHC service across BSC, ASC, and VAC programs
- Inspire, support, and develop a team of educators to deliver high-quality, child-centred care
- Design and implement creative, play-based programs that respond to children’s interests and seasonal opportunities
- Build strong, trusted relationships with children, families, school leadership, and the wider community
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and quality standards, maintaining a strong focus on safety and wellbeing
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the service
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training via Geckko.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Child Protection training is required for this role.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
