About the role

Temporary opportunity to apply occupational therapy skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of clients in the local geographical population to promote, maintain and rehabilitate functional ability and improve quality of life.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

Deliver quality occupational therapy clinical services across a variety of caseloads in a Community Transition Care home-visiting model in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
Contemporary knowledge, expertise and skills in the provision of occupational therapy services with a restorative focus in a Community Transition care environment, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Demonstrates competent knowledge and skill to provide professional advice.
Good communication skills that enable development of improved service delivery outcomes and effective relationships with staff, clients and other key stakeholders.
Builds and maintains effective professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
