About the Role

Our teachers play an integral role in delivering dynamic, innovative pedagogy that inspires and engages learners, promoting a positive culture of inclusiveness, personalisation and care.

The College is seeking a Secondary Teacher (Core) to our team on a full‑time, permanent contract. The successful applicant will teach Year 8 English, HASS, and Religious Education. Whether you’re a recent graduate or an experienced educator, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our dynamic school community.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Promote the mission and ethos of the College through active classroom participation and by modelling appropriate standards of behaviour.
Maintain a positive and effective learning environment through well-prepared and varied lessons that cater to a range of student abilities and interests.
Set a challenging and realistic program of student homework.
Provide prompt and thorough feedback on student work submitted for marking and supervision.

Skills and Experiences:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
Current Queensland Teacher Registration.
Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School.
Demonstrate dedication to the profession of education.
