About the Role
ACESGroup is seeking experienced and motivated Security Control Room Operator to join our team at South Bank in Brisbane.
This roles forms part of a professional, client-focused security operation delivering safe, secure, and customer-friendly services within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
You will play a key role in maintaining site safety and security, monitoring activities, and ensuring professional service delivery at all times within a crowded place
Typical duties may include:
- Monitoring CCTV and physical security systems (Control Room Operator)
- Conducting regular visible patrols and responding to incidents (Rover)
- Providing customer assistance and engagement and welfare support with vulnerable people
- Maintaining strong resilience, situational awareness and suspicious activity reporting, including participation in training, exercises, and drills
- Preparing reports, logs, and escalating incidents when required
- Provide high-quality security services in accordance with client requirements, (including Conditions of Entry management) and ACESGroup standards.
- Operate and utilise ACESGroup’s technology platforms to support site safety and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports through digital systems.
- Collaborate with team members, management, and precinct partners to enhance operational efficiency.
Essential Criteria
- QLD Security Licence
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card (current)
- First Aid and CPR (current)
- Understanding of security arrangements for a crowded place
- Customer service experience
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal)
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
- Ability to pass a LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test
- Full QLD Driver Licence
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
ACESGroup can assist suitable candidates in obtaining the necessary qualifications via our internal Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
