The Sales Representative Queensland ensures the achievement of individual monthly, cycle, and annual targets into pharmacy outlets, which is vital for maintaining our financial health and market leadership. In this role, you will manage a large portfolio of independent pharmacies and State Key Accounts (SKA), acting as a critical link between Ego’s head office strategies and pharmacy floors. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and selling expertise will be key to expanding product range, negotiating premier shelf space, and cultivating productive, professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Target Achievement: Drive range and volume growth across existing and new pharmacies to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, cycle, and annual sales targets.
Key Account Management: Build and enhance Ego’s position with defined retail head offices and pharmacies, developing tailored promotional plans to maximise catalogue and advertising ROI.
Training & Product Knowledge: Conduct engaging product knowledge and sales training programs for pharmacists and retail staff to create an optimal environment for recommendations and sales.
Merchandising Excellence: Negotiate prime shelf locations reflecting market share, arrange impactful window and in-store displays, and manage off-location features throughout the year.
Data & Administration: Maintain daily, accurate customer records in Salesforce CRM, complete timely reporting (expenses, weekly summaries), and analyse sales and IQVIA/IMS data to identify new business opportunities.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate in state sales meetings, cycle updates, national conferences, trade shows, and weekend/evening events to support the broader Commercial team.
To be successful in this role, you will need a collaborative spirit, strong sales skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment.
Essential Requirements:
Experience: Proven Field sales experience and experience within the pharmacy, retail, or FMCG sector, with a track record of driving brand market share.
Technical Skills: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage call cycles, develop promotional plans, and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing opportunities.
Systems: Proficiency using Salesforce CRM (or a similar CRM database) to log daily interactions, alongside an ability to interpret sales, IMS, or IQVIA reports.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to liaise with Pharmacists, Retail Assistants, and provide feedback to the greater internal sales and marketing teams.
