- Contribute to the growth of the Brisbane team, with a genuine opportunity to develop into a key 2IC and future leader.

Deliver hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments, and flood management solutions across a diverse range of projects.

Work independently (*with the support of our national team and Technical Lead) and take ownership of day-to-day technical delivery, project coordination, and client outcomes.

Support the QLD Flooding and Hydrology Lead while helping provide depth and continuity within the Brisbane team.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver clear, practical, and high-quality outcomes.

Prepare technical reports, modelling outputs, mapping, and other project deliverables to a high standard.

About You
You are a capable and proactive engineer/scientist, who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and contributing to meaningful project outcomes. Qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.

Experienced or Senior Engineer/Scientist level, ideally with 5+ years’ experience in flood assessments, hydrology, and hydraulic modelling.

Demonstrate confidence and capability to work independently, manage your own technical delivery, and operate effectively as a key member of a small but growing team.

Strong Australian consulting experience, with QLD experience beneficial.

Strong hydrologic and hydraulic modelling capability, with TUFLOW (essential). Experience with tools such as RORB, URBS, WBNM, and HEC-RAS will be well regarded.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work directly with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Experience in major infrastructure is helpful, but not essential.
