About the role:
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Partnerships Events Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of delivery of Partnership-led events from start to finish.
This is a hands-on delivery role is suited to someone who moves quickly, uses their initiative, is comfortable working with autonomy and takes ownership of delivery. You will be supported, but trusted to run with your work and drive outcomes.
Working across Queensland and the Northern Territory, you will take the lead on planning and delivering Partnerships-led events. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, with a strong focus on execution, coordination and outcomes.
Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and deliver Partnerships-led events, including union conferences, member nights and training days

Manage event logistics end-to-end, including stakeholder liaison, materials, venues and on-the-day delivery

Coordinate Labour Day activities and partnerships stall setup

Support key partnership initiatives, including Cowboys games and seasonal activations

Manage event-related promotional materials and merchandise, including ordering, stock control and distribution for events

Work Collaboratively with union partners, referrers and other external stakeholders

Capture event insights and support reporting and continuous improvement activities

Collaborate with Public Affairs and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective event delivery
About you
You are someone who gets things done. You are calm under pressure, highly organised and comfortable working autonomously in a role where priorities can shift quickly.
You do not wait for instructions. You anticipate what is needed, take initiative and follow through to completion.
You will bring:

Experience coordinating events, conferences or stakeholder engagements

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Confidence handling last minute Partnership requests and working to tight timeframes

The ability to work independently and use sound judgement to problem solve

Clear and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders

A practical, hands-on approach to delivery

Experience using digital tools and systems for event coordination and reporting

A collaborative mindset and willingness to support broader team objectives

A passion for delivering high-quality experiences and outcomes

Flexibility to travel when required for events across Queensland and the Northern Territory

A relevant qualifications in events, marketing or a related discipline are desirable.
