Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with clinical leads and end users across Metro North Health to deliver the Digital Metro North Strategy 2018-32. The strategy aims to ultimately deliver an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North by 2032. Over the coming years, significant capital works are being undertaken, including hospital construction and refurbishment and the implementation of the ieMR Advanced solution across all Metro North facilities. Achieving the aims of the strategy requires a dedicated team with the knowledge, determination, and skills to deliver quality results.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
Responsibility for the operational planning, management and evaluation of designated services and for maintaining professional nursing and midwifery standards within the broader interprofessional workforce, to deliver educational opportunities resulting from the Metro North integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) Program.
Support the Metro North ieMR Program Senior User in meeting the strategic objectives of the program by leading and managing all learning and development activities associated with the ieMR Program, ensuring that learning products and solutions are effectively planned, developed and delivered to a high standard and within defined timeframes.
Provide efficient and effective use of human and material resources in the ieMR program.
Responsibility for the development of designated service improvement portfolios across the Metro North ieMR Program.
About the role
Facilitate a learning environment by sharing knowledge and expertise, directing and monitoring strategies that support and promote education, learning, research and workforce development.
Collaborate with nursing and midwifery colleagues, interprofessional team members, key stakeholders, committees and advisory groups to develop and maintain effective relationships that support operational and strategic functions within the ieMR program and Metro North Health.
Accountable for managing effective and cost-efficient management of hospital resources and services within and available to the ieMR Program in collaboration with the Nursing Director Clinical Informatics Director.
Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and guidance within the ieMR Program team to ensure that appropriate clinical input is given to training development and clinical involvement is maintained through the requirements and delivery process.
