Full Job Description

We are a well-established business focused on retail and commercial projects, with more than 30 years in the market and 9 office locations across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, India and Brazil. We are looking for a technically talented Architectural Technician to join our team in Brisbane. This is a permanent, full-time role for someone with a strong understanding of architectural documentation and the ability to liaise with multiple internal and external clients across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role:

As an Architectural Technician, you will:

Prepare architectural documentation, including plans, specifications, and detailed drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD.
Conducting site surveys and measurements to ensure accuracy and precision.
Collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Ensuring all documentation complies with the Building Code of Australia (BCA), Australian Standards, and relevant planning processes.
Contributing to retail store planning and shop fit-out designs.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate has:

3+ years of experience as an architectural technician, preferably in retail or commercial sectors.
A relevant qualification in architecture, building design, or drafting.
Advanced proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Are able to work both autonomously and as a member of a small/medium/big team and meet deadlines, keeping a strong attention to detail.
Are able to organise and prioritise work with excellent time management.
Drive to learn and open to new ways of working while striving for quality and excellence in all aspects of work.
Possess any recognised tertiary qualification in architecture, building design, or related field.
Have good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and a current driver's licence.
