In this 12 month maternity leave position, you'll lead the marketing function driving Never Never towards our ambitious growth goals. This will include managing the development of marketing strategy and accountability for execution across all channels. You’ll lead a team of four dedicated marketing staff and support the activity of our Brand Ambassadors and sales team around the country. You’ll also manage our key relationships and ways of working with the Asahi/CUB marketing leadership and teams around the country.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy: Lead brand positioning, core creative and consumer initiatives that impact consumer demand, advertising, and ensure superior execution of brand standards. Deliver on growth expectations through a robust strategy & integrated commercial plan. Drive pricing strategy and parameters.

Brand Execution: Ensure brand creative is calibrated to plan and aligned across financial, sales and internal stakeholders. Deploy clear and engaging agency briefs with clear objectives. Employ a data driven approach to execution based on leading indicators. Build rapid mass consumer awareness to support ambitious growth plan in line with financial budgets and resources, delivering high ROI.

Commercial Performance: Lead key marketing projects that cut across the entire marketing/commercial agenda, such as portfolio strategy and multi-year strategic plan. Shape and deliver a strong NPD agenda building the innovation stretch opportunities, developing the innovation pipeline ensuring alignment with overall brand strategies

Team Leadership: Maintain high performance standards and a culture of shared learning. Drive a strong and consistent focus on people, contributing to talent discussions, sales capability, performance and culture.

About You

Demonstrated experience in marketing management.
Experience gained in an FMCG marketing function, ideally within high volume consumer goods, grocery, beverages or comparable consumer environment.
Proven record of achievement in portfolio/brand marketing, campaign delivery and commercial planning.
Expertise in translating brand strategy into sales-driving plans, distinctive creative platforms and integrated campaigns.
Commercially minded with the ability to translate strategy into business outcomes.
Experienced leading teams and influencing across complex stakeholder groups.
Passionate about developing people, fostering collaboration and building high-performing teams.
