The Royal Women’s Hospital is one of Australia’s oldest and most distinguished quaternary hospitals dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of women and newborns, offering specialised services within maternity, neonatal and women’s health. About the unit

The Operating Suite provides surgical services 24 hours per day, seven days a week and consists of 7 operating theatres including one dedicated emergency theatre and, a day procedure theatre. Surgical specialties include obstetrics, gynaecology, urogynaecology, breast, IVF and oncology.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Scrub Scout or Anaesthetic/PACU Registered Nurse to join our Operating Theatres. You will provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care of your assigned patients.

A regular day will see you:

Work across areas of Theatre Nursing: Scrub, Scout and/or PACU and Anaesthetics
Be professionally accountable for the standard of nursing care provided as set out by ACORN standards
Be aware of and work in accordance with Hospital policies and procedures

About you

You’ll bring with you:

Experience working within the operating suite in Scrub Scout or Anaesthetics/PACU
Divison 1 Registered Nurse
Post Graduate qualifications preffered
