Full Job Description

What are we looking for?

An experienced dental assistant with crown/implant work knowledge is required to support our growing Dental Practice. A part-time/full-time position is available for the right candidate.

Fluent English is essential for this role to support our Principal Dentist.

ONLY CANDIDATES with either a Cert III in Dental Assisting or at least two years of experience working as a dental assistant IN AUSTRALIA will be considered.

Specialising in family and holistic dentistry, orthodontics, and implant surgery. We aim to establish a safe space where meaningful connections flourish, making work enjoyable and rewarding!

What makes us smile:

Adaptable to using and caring for different tools/equipment - EMS airflow, CEREC milling machines
Experience working alongside dentists specialising in high-end cosmetic procedures, including dental implants
Chairside assisting, room set-up, changeover and sterilisation; knowledge of Australian infection control standards is essential!
Have a positive attitude towards learning and developing

What makes us REALLY smile:

Knowledge of how to stain and glaze in-house crowns and other lab work (or is willing to learn)
Familiarisation with Core Practice software
Experience with digital scanners (such as iTero) and digital photography such as Cosmetic Smile (or willing to learn)
Experience with clinical photography, intraoral and extraoral
Knowledge of stock control and reception tasks
