This is an ideal opportunity for a local or someone wanting to stay in the area after spending their winter in the mountains. We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, and who would like to apply their horticulture experience during this temporary 4-month opportunity. This role is full-time and works a 9-day fortnight, based in Bright.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person who enjoys working outdoors and would like to apply their relevant horticultural experience.
We are proud of our beautiful open space areas and we’re looking for a new team member who is as passionate about the presentation of these areas as we are. To succeed in this role, you will:

Undertake horticultural maintenance and improvement activities.

Achieve a high standard of presentation and public satisfaction with our open spaces.

Safely and effectively work in our open spaces environment.
Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is a team player who has the following qualifications/experience:

Valid driver’s licence

Formal qualifications in Horticulture are desirable

Heavy/medium truck licence is preferable

HLTAID003 Provide first aid

Chainsaw qualifications

Worksafe Construction Induction Card

Working with Children Check (can be obtained upon appointment)

Farm Chemical Users Certificate
