TRUCK/HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANICS / FITTERS - BDSA BRISBANE

BDS Mechanical is seeking qualified Truck and Diesel Mechanics, as well as Fitters, to join our Brisbane team in full-time, permanent positions. BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a progressive and rapidly expanding company delivering comprehensive mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding solutions across Queensland and Western Australia. With fully equipped workshop facilities and a fleet of more than 160 mobile service units, we provide reliable, high-quality support across a service area exceeding 600,000 km². The successful candidates will possess the following:

Relevant trade qualification
Diagnostic experience
Strong fault-finding skills
Experience with trucks and trailers
Heavy earthmoving experience (advantageous)
Good communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Truck licence (preferred)
Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded

Your duties will include:

Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
