Casual role, $32.89/hour, 3-4 days a week, in one of the Southern Highlands' most peaceful settings. No experience required, full training given.
Hours: Typically 8:30am–4:00pm, with some flexibility. Genuine potential to become a permanent role for the right person.
About us
Hartzer Park is a retreat and conference centre in the Southern Highlands, run by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. People come here to slow down and reconnect, and our small team helps make that happen day to day.
What you'll be doing
No two days are quite the same. On a typical day you might:
- Prepare and tidy guest rooms and communal spaces
- Help out in the kitchen with meal prep, service, and cleaning up
- Do light general maintenance around the grounds and facilities
- Welcome guests and retreat groups, and lend a hand to the Centre Manager wherever needed
- Occasionally work a weekend for special events like wedding ceremonies
What we're looking for
No specific qualifications needed, just the right attitude. You'll enjoy this role if you:
- Take pride in your work and like creating a welcoming space for others
- Are happy working solo sometimes and as part of a small team other times
- Have a positive, can-do approach to a mix of different tasks
- Have worked in hospitality, cleaning, or something similar before, this helps but isn't essential

- Own transport to get to and from Hartzer Park
- Right to work in Australia
