Selection Criteria

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrate your recent clinical experience in emergency care or an acute care setting. Include the key skills, responsibilities, and professional development activities that contribute to your readiness for practice in Bowral Hospital Emergency Department.
Provide an example of how you worked effectively within a multidisciplinary team during a period of high activity or increased patient demand. Describe the actions you took to support safe patient flow, maintain collaborative communication, and ensure timely, quality care.
Emergency Departments can change quickly. Describe a situation where you had to adapt to new priorities or unexpected challenges. How did you manage this?
Working in the ED often involves highly emotional situations. Demonstrate your ability to use effective, empathetic communication to manage difficult interactions with patients, family members, or colleagues.
