About the Role
Saraji Mine are seeking capable, and safety‑minded Mechanical Fitters who are ready to take the next step in their career. You'll play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly by carrying out inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on our heavy field mining equipment.
Key Duties:
- Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on surface field mining equipment, including draglines and electric shovels.
- Diagnosing faults and conducting repairs and servicing on surface field mining equipment.
- Supporting continuous improvement through proactive problem solving.
- Contributing to a safe and collaborative team environment.
About you
- A strong commitment to safety and looking out for your teammates.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
- A Mechanical Trade qualification (Cert III or equivalent)
- Demonstrated prior experience working with draglines and electric rope shovels.
