We're excited to invite a passionate, organized Casual Warehouse Assistant to join our team.
OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for someone with strong detail orientation and warehouse skills to support our Sunshine Coast operations. This is a clean, focused, warehouse-based role designed around school-friendly hours on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Varied tasks include:
- Order fulfillment via Shopify.
- Picking and packing Archies footwear orders.
- Generating and printing courier/postage labels.
- Team communication regarding stock needs, order priorities, and stock delivery feedback.
- Inventory tracking and system adjustments in Shopify/inventory software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick & Pack: Accurately pick orders by style, size, and color, and pack items securely for dispatch.
- Shopify & Shipping: Access Shopify to process online orders, print dispatch slips, and generate shipping labels.
- Team Communication & Requirements: Proactively communicate with internal team members to identify daily stock requirements, dispatch priorities, and operational needs.
- Stock Deliveries & System Adjustments: Receive feedback on incoming/outgoing stock deliveries and maintain accurate stock level adjustments in the system.
- Inventory Control: Conduct stock counts, monitor inventory levels, unpack shipments, and keep the warehouse clean and organized.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Shopify / Tech Experience: Prior experience or strong confidence using Shopify, web browsers, thermal label printers, and inventory tracking.
- Strong Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members to gather feedback on deliveries and keep stock data current.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when reading order sheets to ensure correct styles and sizes are packed every time.
- Accountable & Reliable: Honest, punctual, self-motivated individual able to work independently.
- Availability: Available on Mondays and Wednesdays during school hours.
- Physical Capability: Ability to handle light-to-moderate box lifting and stock movement.
- Work Authorisation: Must have full legal right to work in Australia.
SALARY & HOURS
- Salary: $33.85 / hour (+ 12% Superannuation)
- Hours: 5 – 10 hours per week (Mondays & Wednesdays)
