About the role
Albury Wodonga Health is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Occupational Therapist with community and/or rehabilitation experience to join the Community Rehabilitation Team in Wodonga.
The primary responsibility of this role is the provision of rehabilitation within a service that is goal directed and time limited. This position is part of an interdisciplinary team comprising of Allied Health Assistants (AHAs), Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Nurses, fellow Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists and Social Workers. Professional support will be provided by the Occupational Therapy Department. The role includes support/supervision of AHA's and undergraduate OT students. The position includes contributing to group programs as part of a team. Skills or interest in the provision of telehealth would be an advantage. In your application, please outline how you meet the following criteria.
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
Registration with AHPRA.
Current Drivers Licence.
Demonstrated ability to assess, plan and implement realistic treatment and outcome goals for rehabilitation clients.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work within a multi/interdisciplinary team environment.
Well-developed time management, problem solving and decision making skills in order to complete tasks in designated timeframes.
