Full Job Description

Who We Are

Doga Sydney brings together two things people love: yoga and puppies. Our sessions offer participants a chance to unwind, laugh and connect - while puppies roam freely, creating an experience unlike any other wellness activity in Sydney.

Beyond the fun, we partner with rescue organizations to help some of our furry guests find their forever homes. If you're a qualified yoga instructor who lights up around dogs, we want to meet you.

The Role

We're building a team of instructors for ongoing weekly sessions across multiple Sydney locations. You'll guide beginner-level classes where the vibe is relaxed, the energy is positive, and the occasional puppy interruption is not just expected, it's the whole point.

Your responsibilities include:

Guiding accessible yoga flows designed for mixed-ability groups
Managing class flow while puppies interact with participants
Keeping the space safe, calm, and enjoyable for humans and dogs
Working alongside our events team to deliver consistent, high-quality sessions
Embodying our ethos: mindful movement, genuine connection, and a little chaos (the good kind)

What You Bring

Must-haves:

Current yoga teaching certification from a recognized training program
Minimum 12 months of teaching experience (group classes preferred)
Comfortable around dogs- energetic puppies will climb, play and occasionally disrupt poses
Weekend and evening availability (most sessions run outside 9-5 hours)
Professional, warm and able to read the room (and adapt when puppies steal the show)

Bonus points for:

Experience teaching beginner or all-levels classes
Background in community wellness, fitness or event facilitation
Ability to hold space with humor and flexibility when things don't go to plan
