Chef – Full-Time | Busy Bayside Beach Café
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team at a busy and well-established café located in Melbourne’s Bayside beach area.
About the Role
This is a full-time Chef position, offering approximately 38–40 hours per week, including weekend and public holiday work.
Requirements
- Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience working as a Chef in a busy café or hospitality environment
- Strong cooking skills and ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Experience with breakfast, brunch and café-style food
- Ability to prepare and cook dishes consistently to a high standard
- Ability to contribute new menu ideas, seasonal specials and menu development
- Experience with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Ability to work effectively as part of a busy kitchen team
- Reliable, professional and able to perform well under pressure
- Good communication and time-management skills
