The Safeguards Team is an established Child, Youth & Family Mental Health service, purpose-built to transform how we support children and young people in crisis. This dynamic, community-based team delivers rapid, flexible and responsive care to young people aged 0–17 experiencing acute mental health distress—meeting them where they are, when they need it most.
As a Senior Social Worker within this high-performing multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in shaping outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and their families. Reporting to the NBM Safeguards Clinical Lead, you will bring advanced clinical expertise and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice to deliver comprehensive, trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate assessments and interventions. Your work will focus on coordinating care, guiding complex clinical decision-making, and providing meaningful, time-limited therapeutic support that makes a lasting difference.
