Trade Sphere Group is seeking a trade-qualified Fabricator to join our growing team.
This full-time role supports both our in-house machinery manufacturing at our Penrith facility and external client projects across the manufacturing and industrial sectors. It's ideal for a skilled and adaptable fabricator who thrives in both workshop and site environments, with proven experience in fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, and equipment repairs.
What We’re Looking For
- Trade Certified – Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)
- Proven fabrication and welding experience (dairy/food/bev sector preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude and skills in pneumatics and hydraulics
- Restricted electrical disconnect/reconnect ticket (desirable, not essential)
- High attention to detail, initiative, and a flexible work attitude
- Excellent communication and time management
- A commitment to workplace safety and high customer service standards in manufacturing environments
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
What You’ll Be Doing
Based out of our Penrith workshop, you’ll also work on-site with clients throughout Greater Sydney—with travel opportunities interstate.
- Perform fabrication and welding tasks (MIG/TIG/Stick)
- Support maintenance and repair of plant equipment
- Interpret technical drawings and complete quality fabrication works
- Use internal systems for job records and time tracking
- Maintain site inductions and safety compliance, including LOTO
- Collaborate with a skilled team on installations and project rollouts
