Location: Blacktown Hospital

Where you'll be working
Join the dedicated team at Blacktown Hospital, where you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of high quality patient care. As the first point of contact for many patients and visitors, you'll work closely with nurses, doctors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the ward. What you'll be doing
As a Ward Clerk, you will provide efficient administrative support that helps ensure the smooth operation of the ward and contributes to positive patient outcomes. Your organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will be essential in this fast paced healthcare environment.

Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with NSW Health policies and procedures.
Provide administrative support to clinical staff while assisting patients and visitors.
Coordinate clerical systems and manage essential ward documentation.
Promote a patient centred approach in all interactions and administrative processes.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
