The Role
We are seeking an experienced Migration Consultant, Immigration Lawyer, or Senior Case Manager to join our growing team.
This role involves managing migration matters from consultation through to lodgement and case finalisation. You will work closely with clients, provide practical migration solutions, and manage a range of visa applications and migration pathways.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, professionalism, and solid migration industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing migration files from start to finish
- Preparing and lodging visa applications before deadlines
- Handling Skills Assessments and supporting documentation
- Advising clients on migration pathways and visa strategies
- Drafting professional submissions and client correspondence
- Communicating with the Department of Home Affairs and related bodies
- Conducting client consultations in both English and Mandarin
- Following up with clients regarding documents and case progress
- Maintaining accurate file notes and compliance standards
- Supporting the team with migration strategy and problem-solving
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working in an Australian migration law firm or migration agency
- Strong understanding of Australian migration procedures and visa categories
- Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
- Proven ability to independently manage a substantial caseload of migration matters, including managing 80+ active cases in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently
- Professional, practical, and client-focused attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented
Important Requirements
Please note that this role is NOT suitable for junior applicants or candidates without migration industry experience.
We are specifically looking for someone who:
- Has genuine migration industry experience
- Can independently manage migration matters and client files
- Possesses a strong and practical understanding of Australian migration law, visa procedures, compliance obligations, and documentation requirements across a range of visa subclasses
- Is confident handling client communication and case management professionally
Mandarin Chinese is Mandatory
Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills are essential for this role.
You must be able to:
- Communicate professionally with Mandarin-speaking clients
- Conduct consultations in both English and Mandarin
- Draft emails and correspondence in both languages
- Manage client relationships confidently and professionally
Applicants without migration experience or without strong Mandarin communication skills will not be considered.

Salary Guide
- Mid-level: AUD $80,000 – $110,000 + super
- Senior / Experienced: AUD $110,000 – $150,000+ + super
Salary will be determined based on experience, capability, and qualifications.
