Through seed funding provided by the Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation, Ramsay Health Care has established a national clinical trials network. Consisting of 22 sites spread across four states of Australia, the network employs over 60 team members who focus on the establishment and development of clinical trials at our sites. Our clinical trial activities focus on Oncology & Haematology, Mental Health, Musculoskeletal Disease and Cardiology as well as other therapeutic areas such as respiratory and neurology. Through this dedicated network Ramsay Health Care is able to provide access to emerging treatments and new devices that offer a participant the potential of changing the outcomes of any diagnosis and disease.
Job Description
The role will report to the Clinical Trials Unit and Research Manager and will work closely with a number of key stakeholders including the clinical trials team, the Hospital finance teams and the National Clinical Trials Network.

About You
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day administrative requirements within our small laboratory that relate to sponsored and investigator driven clinical trials, as well as assisting with trial related administration when time permits. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to the development of a leading clinical trials unit at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
Key responsibilities include:

Work collaboratively with the clinical trials team to assist with the functioning of the clinical trial laboratory.

Maintenance of equipment and records.

Assist the clinical research team with laboratory supplies and ordering.
