THE ROLE
We are looking for a Service Coordinator to organise the field activities of the fire service division. Communicate directly with technicians, customers, vendors, and suppliers. You will be responsible for scheduling all field personnel for preventive maintenance contracts, service repairs & replacements. The role is based in our Silverwater Office, with the option to work from home in a hybrid arrangement will be considered after probation.
Responsibilities
Responding to customer queries.
- Managing, scheduling, coordinating and dispatching field technicians/testers to undertake service and repairs.
- Liaising with the Fire Services Manager to keep track of resources for service and repair jobs whilst ensuring jobs are compliant with industry standards.
- Ordering equipment and materials for new work orders and arranging delivery/collection of these.
- Invoicing of maintenance and quoted jobs.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role, you will have
- Previous experience within the fire protection industry and/or experience in a Fire Service Coordinator role is an advantage, but not essential.
- Understanding of annual fire safety statement compliance requirements.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Coordinate professionally with stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in scheduling technicians and planning maintenance
- Service management systems training (simPRO similar)
