Casual position based in Berrimah at our Crerar Road Site.

About CatholicCare NT and the Program

The Crerar Road accommodation site provides predominately an indigenous accommodation service, comprising of a 190-bed shared hostel accommodation over two adjacent properties. The Crerar Road accommodation site provides a home away from home experience to our participants who come to town for medical appointments, shopping, catch up with family or sporting events. In addition to this we provide renal, and Homeless accommodation.

About the Role

Join us as our After Hours Site Security & Support Officer responsible for the safety, security, and smooth operation of our site which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week at our Crerar Rd site in Berrimah.

Be the trusted presence that keeps our operations running smoothly and ensures a welcoming and safe environment for all.

What we are looking for - is this you?

Security Licence and Cert II in Security Operations
First Aid Certificate & Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working in a 24/7 shift role in a relevant environment
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices including incident reports
High level of interpersonal, communication skills and cultural sensitivity
Ability to manage challenging behaviours and resolve conflict calmly and professionally, especially under pressure
