What's on the menu? (aka what you'll be doing):
- Effectively manage the kitchen by ensuring the use of correct suppliers and produce, overseeing food preparation, service and presentation; managing portion control and food consistency, stock rotation and EOM stocktake.
- Ensure that all statutory regulations are adhered to within the kitchen and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas while ensuring compliance with applications such as Squizify.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene
- Updating menu in line with current trends and customer demand while ensuring the incorporation of seasonal ingredients in collaboration with the Executive chef and Group Head Chef.
Your ingredients (aka what we're looking for):
Qualified Head Chefs, CDP, Demi Chefs, Commis Chef, Sous Chef who can handle the heat (and still crack a smile)
- Minium associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in commercial cookery or relevant field
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a professional environment
- A genuine love for fresh, seasonal produce and bold flavours, paired with the management skills needed to lead a smooth, efficient kitchen
- Ability to thrive in a high energy, fast paced kitchen.
- A cool head (even when the grill's scorching).
- Team players who bring flavour, energy, and a dash of cheek
