PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Work as a key member of the maintenance team, contributing to a positive team engagement and supporting the training and development of other trades and apprentices.
Take ownership and management of all maintenance activities and responsibilities in respective processing area working directly with production and onsite trades with a focus on equipment, reliability, performance, and continues improvement to deliver optimal, equipment uptime to support production requirements in a sustainable manner.

The incumbent will actively participate in all training and/or to facilitate training to ensure all maintenance employees are equipped with the relevant skills to reach performance objectives as outlined in this Position Description.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow and Apply all OH&S policies and procedures both from a Hazeldenes and regulatory perspective.
- Contribute to own personal well-being and the well-being of co-workers.
- Lead and develop a high level of GMP compliance within the maintenance team to deliver a world standard maintenance environment
- Leading the maintenance trades team in respective areas to optimise plant and equipment as per manufacturers recommendations to ensure plant and equipment are maintained at a high level to deliver optimal performance.
- Work closely with the Reliability Engineer to improve and develop planned maintenance (PM) tasks as per original equipment manufacturer (OEM)
- Work closely with the Maintenance planner to ensure all PM are planned, resourced, and executed in time and to the required standard, as per OEM recommendations.
- Resolve operational or technical equipment problems to minimise production interruptions resulting from equipment breakdowns, failures, or underperformance.
- Assist in fault finding, failure assessments and root cause analysis to prevent recurring breakdowns or failures.
- Lead and develop a proactive culture within the wider maintenance team with the aim to move to predictive maintenance position.
- Work closely with the maintenance manager to assess and develop processes to identify and narrow skills requirements to improve maintenance performance with a focus on proactive mindset.
- Generate key performance reports and daily feedback to maintenance and production with relevant data to assess gaps and drive continuous improvement.
