Job Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on full-time Café&Restaurant Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our venue and lead our team in delivering outstanding service.
·Monitor all aspects of daily operations of the café and restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a high standard of service and efficiency
·Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly resolving any issues or complaints
·Maintain the highest standards of food and beverage quality, updating menu items based on customer feedback and seasonality
·Recruit, train and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff to maintain a vibrant work environment
·Create and manage staff rosters in line with business needs
·Coordinate and manage functions, events, and group bookings
·Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
·Manage budgets and control costs to meet financial targets
·Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and licensing regulations.
Requirements
·Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a management role within a cafe or restaurant environment.
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
·Strong knowledge of specialty coffee and modern cafe cuisine.
·Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
·Proficiency in computer software applications
·Solid understanding of rostering, cost control, and stock management
