This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on the floor, enjoys developing teams, understands the commercial side of hospitality, and takes pride in creating a venue culture that guests and staff want to be part of.
About the Role
As the Assistant venue manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring high standards of service, food and beverage knowledge, team performance, compliance & financial management.
Working closely with our venue management, kitchen team, events & operations, you will lead from the front, maintain strong relationships with guests, and drive the continued growth and success of the business.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a similar role as an Assistant venue manager or senior leadership role within hospitality.
- Strong food, beverage, and wine knowledge.
- A genuine passion for Australian native ingredients, local producers, and Australian wine.
- Demonstrated experience delivering premium dining experiences and confidently discussing food and wine with guests.
- Understanding of seasonal produce and the ability to work closely with the kitchen team to showcase Australian ingredients.
Essential Requirements
- Industry experience.
- Current Victorian RSA Certificate.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
