About the Role
Estia Health Victoria Point has a dedicated team of hospitality staff, whose passion for creating healthy nutritious meals for our residents is evident in everything they do. In this busy, diverse and challenging role you will deliver exceptional service to our residents, ensuring their meal experience is to the highest standard.
As Chef you’ll:
- Join a passionate team of food creators striving to deliver excellence in food nutrition catering to individual and diverse needs
- Take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents can look forward to enjoying a meal in the company of others
- Make a rewarding contribution by creating nutritious and healthy meals that bring delight to our residents
You’ll be a real team player who:
- Brings their passion for creating nutritious, healthy and delicious food to create meal experiences that enrich the lives of our residents
- Takes great pride in preparing and delivering appropriately nutritious food to the highest quality and service standards in line with Estia Health guidelines
- Uses their attention to food handling and hygiene standards and the ability to ensure menus can cater to diverse individual needs
- Trains and mentors, their kitchen team to the expected standards.
- You will have qualifications in commercial cookery and/or previous experience in a similar role
- Responsible for menu planning
- Managing the staff in the kitchen
