Who we are:
Hanaman Homes is a small family-run residential carpentry business delivering medium to high-end new homes and in-house developments across Melbourne.
We specialise in new home framing, lock-up and fix and do not operate in volume housing. Our projects require strong plan-reading ability and high attention to detail across all build stages.
Most of our work is located in Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern suburbs, with occasional work in the north and west.
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Carpenter with strong new home framing experience to lead a small crew and help deliver projects from frame through to completion.
This role is on the tools across all stages of construction.
What the role involves
- Running new home frames from set-out to completion
- Working across lock-up and external façade stages
- Completing fixing work to a high standard
- Leading apprentices onsite
- Keeping jobs organised and moving to program
- Working closely with the director on daily site progress
Essential requirements
- Qualified carpenter
- Strong new home framing experience (must run frames independently)
- Experience on medium to high-end residential builds
- Solid experience across multiple cladding systems
- Confident completing fixing unsupervised
- High attention to detail
- Experience leading apprentices or small crews
- Organised and clear communicator
Applicants without strong new home framing experience are unlikely to suit this role.
