We're now looking for a switched-on Junior Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial backbone of our business.

About the Role

Reporting into the Financial Controller, you'll bring your accounting expertise to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You'll be hands-on across day-to-day finance operations, financial reporting and commercial decision-making, while also contributing to the management of our licensing, sponsorship, and association agreements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant who loves sport, thrives on variety, and wants to grow their career with a respected Australian brand.

Key Requirements

3–5 years' accounting experience
Hands-on experience with Sage X3 ERP
Demonstrated experience dealing with Licensing, Sponsorship and Association contracts and agreements within the sporting industry
Working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand regulatory and legal requirements
Working knowledge of Indian regulatory and tax legislation requirements
Tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting
Ongoing work rights in Australia

Nice to Have

Experience preparing financial reporting for both financial and commercial management purposes
Strong skills in forecasting, cash flow management, tax management and budgeting
Experience working in a dynamic environment with significant change

Excellent written and oral communication skills
A natural problem solver who can identify root causes, implement practical solutions and simplify the complex for stakeholders
Strong prioritisation and time management skills
Professional presentation when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach
A genuine team player with excellent attention to detail
