The Role
Are you looking to grow your career in supply chain and inventory management? This is a great opportunity to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator, where you'll play a meaningful role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
You'll be responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels, supporting accurate inventory tracking, and contributing to the efficient flow of products across our supply chain, all while building skills that will set you up for long term success. You'll also play an important part in minimising waste, preventing out of stocks, and upholding our food safety and quality standards.
This role is well suited to someone earlier in their career who is ready to take ownership of real responsibilities from day one. Working alongside our warehouse, production, and supply chain teams, you'll gain valuable hands on experience in a fast paced FMCG environment with plenty of room to grow.
This role operates in the afternoon shift, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for the following core areas:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across warehouses, production areas, and distribution sites
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with ERP/system records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or expired stock.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Track and report on inventory KPIs (e.g., stock turnover, shrinkage, expiry).
- Support inbound and outbound logistics by managing inventory movements and stock allocation.
- Maintain accurate records for traceability, especially for perishable goods and batch-controlled items.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Assist with stocktakes and prepare audit-ready inventory reports.
- Identify opportunities to optimize inventory processes and reduce waste or overstocking.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in inventory control, stock coordination, or warehouse operations (preferably in FMCG or food & beverage).
- Knowledge of inventory software/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Pronto, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, and batch tracking methodologies.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, SQF, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field.
- Forklift license (not essential)
- Experience in cold chain or perishable goods handling.
