Currently, we have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join the Finance team as a Facilities Projects - Senior Advisor.

About the role:

You will Provide facilities management expertise and be responsible for Project Management of new facilities and refurbishment of existing facilities on assigned projects.

What you can expect with this role

Plans and estimates the cost and resource requirement necessary for providing accommodation and project services
Provides information for planning and priority setting for Corporation facilities and associated support assets
Liaises, consults, and negotiates with Business Units and Regions to ensure efficient and responsive planning and project management of facilities
Contracts Consultants, Architects and Engineers for design and approval
Develop design briefs, specifications, and tender documentation for construction projects.
Establishes contracts with service providers for management of areas occupied by the Corporation

Key skills and experience:

Substantial experience in project management and construction
Substantial experience managing diverse workgroups of consultants and contractors on large projects
Substantial experience in Facility management and office and commercial fit-out in a large commercial organisation
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
Knowledge of relevant building codes and Australian standards
Ability to understand and interpret standards and OSH
