At MatchWorks, we're looking for an Employer Engagement Consultant to support participants within the Workforce Australia program, connecting job seekers with local employers and helping people overcome barriers to employment. Working closely with Employment Coaches, you'll use your networking skills, local market knowledge and employer partnerships to create sustainable employment outcomes across Mandurah and Pinjarra.
What you’ll do
As an Employer Engagement Consultant in our team you’ll:
- Build strong relationships with local employers to create sustainable employment opportunities.
- Reverse market participants and promote their skills, strengths and potential to employers.
- Partner with Employment Coaches to identify suitable job matches and support positive outcomes.
- Educate employers on inclusive hiring practices and workplace support options.
- Provide ongoing support to employers and participants to encourage long-term employment success.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in Employment Services, recruitment, employer engagement, sales or business development.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Confidence engaging employers and creating opportunities through business development activities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Resilience, initiative and a genuine passion for helping people achieve their employment goals.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
