Full Job Description

Cape Byron Distillery is looking for a new team member to join our Cellar Door Crew!

Make a difference in a small team! We are a leading Australian Independent and family-owned distillery producing our range of award-winning Brookie’s Gin products and Cape Byron Whisky.

This is a special role for someone who loves our products, knows their way around cocktails and has weekend, afternoon availability. We have a passion for excellence, sustainability, and giving back to our community. This is a part-time opportunity, ideal for someone seeking up to 15 hours per week and looking to join a close-knit team in a unique hospitality environment.

Cellar Door Duties

Hosting tours and telling the Cape Byron Distillery story, and educating guests about the art of distillation and Australian native botanicals used in our gin
Preparing and serving mixed drinks and cocktails
Opening and closing of the cellar door
Complying with liquor license regulations and RSA legislation
Manage stock, day to day transactions and float counts accurately

Our new team member will:

Hold a current NSW RSA
Have weekend availability
Have strong communication and public speaking skills
A minimum of 2 years' cocktail bartending experience.
Be an Australian citizen or have a valid working visa
Have a driver’s license
Have a genuine passion for hospitality, premium spirits and creating outstanding guest experiences.
