We currently have permanent part time and fixed term positions available until October 2027.

About the Role

Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a dedicated and organised Ward Clerk to join the General medicine and Oncology team. This role supports patient care and unit efficiency through frontline reception, clerical duties and administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

A day in the life:

Provide reception, clerical and administrative support
Assist with patient admissions and discharges
Support the team with clerical tasks
Manage patient files, mail and documentation
Manage supplies and equipment orders
Coordinate communication between staff, patients and service providers.
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Promote a safe and efficient work environment

What we need from you:

Strong clerical and customer service skills
Ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
Commitment to patient confidentiality and quality service
