Freighter Group seeks a Leading Hand Welder for their Wendouree location.
Requires experience in team leadership and steel/aluminium MIG welding
$34 - $40, per hour exclusive of penalties.

The Role

As a vital member of our Manufacturing team, you won’t just be welding, You will be :

Joining a team to bring complex engineering designs to life.
Manufacture and repair of high-quality trailers and parts, ensuring precision and timely delivery.
Expert Fabrication:Perform general welding (MIG), cutting, grinding, and drilling.
Operate Specialised Gear:Confidently utilise hand/power tools and cranes.

What You Bring

Technical Mastery:You are a qualified, highly competent tradesperson.
Industry Knowledge:Experience in automotive welding is highly preferred.
Communication:Well-developed interpersonal skills and a self-motivated drive for success.
Safety First:A dedicated commitment to upholding safe working practices at all times.
