The Role
The Technical Support Officer maintains the school’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems and network, ensuring reliability and sustainability to enhance the learning environment.
The successful applicant would provide advice on technical issues and collaborate with administration to maintain and develop the network system, whilst identifying priorities and meeting deadlines. Additionally, they will provide technical advice and training to all users throughout the school site on various software applications and provide access to systems and resources.
A high degree of initiative and problem-solving capabilities would be highly regarded as the successful applicant will be responsible for the installation and ongoing maintenance of information systems and ICT equipment in accordance with the school business needs and Department of Education policies and guidelines. This includes maintaining accurate records of ICT assets and resources.
The ability to build strong and positive relationships, communicate effectively and work with a diverse range of people and professionals would also be highly advantageous to the role.

Eligibility

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
