Latrobe Regional Health is looking for Registered Nurse to join our growing team on a Casual Basis.

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and person-centred treatment throughout their healthcare journey. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to achieve positive health outcomes while contributing to a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

The role of the Registered Nurse is to:

Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care, including patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying critical thinking and sound clinical judgement to support safe and effective care.
Develop therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and carers, ensuring care is person-centred, compassionate, and respectful.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, support continuity of treatment, and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards, legislative requirements, and organisational policies.
Participate in quality improvement, professional development, and patient safety initiatives to support excellence in clinical practice.

About you

Ideal candidates for this role will have:

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and demonstrated clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
A collaborative team player who works effectively within multidisciplinary environments while remaining accountable for their own practice.
Committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Adaptable, compassionate, and motivated to continually develop professionally while contributing to a positive workplace culture.
