We're seeking extra customer service assistants to come on board with our fantastic team.
At Tasman Butchers, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service as the meat specialists. Our Meat Service Assistants are at the heart of our business, often the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in creating a positive in-store experience.
You will also work to ensuring a safe, clean and hygienic presentation across the store and selling area.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, pro-active individuals who bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for customer service.
About the Role
As Meat Service Assistant, your focus will be our customer and supporting your team members to do so. You will be responsible for:
- Serving customers at the register with efficiency, friendly and professional manner
- Preparing and packing fresh meat products
- Replenishing and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring the store and display areas are clean, well-presented, and inviting.
What We’re Looking For
Someone who is flexible and can work mainly on the weekends.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of working at a fast pace when trading gets busy
- Excellent personal presentation
- Ability to operate a sales/register system
- A proactive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work well within a team
- Experience in a fresh food or supermarket environment (desireable)
The ideal candidate will offer the flexibility we need to run a successful and dynamic store (including availability on weekends, and afternoons and closes).
Our store hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm - Sat/Sun 8:00am - 5:00pm
