About the Role
Heritage Roofing Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Roofing Estimator to join our growing team in Sydney.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the roofing and construction industry while working alongside experienced professionals across heritage, architectural, slate, copper and high-end roofing projects.
As a Junior Estimator, you will assist in preparing quotes and estimates for roofing works, liaise with suppliers and support our project management team. Full training and ongoing development will be provided for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing estimates and quotations for residential and commercial roofing works
- Sourcing pricing for materials, labour and equipment
- Reading plans, drawings and project specifications
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Assisting with scheduling and coordination of works where required
- Learning estimating systems, roofing products and construction processes
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interest in construction, roofing or the building industry
- Good communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Driver’s licence essential
- Previous roofing or construction experience is advantageous but not essential
