About the Role
The Asia Pacific (APAC) Strategy and Partnerships Team at Palladium is a strategic engine for growth, driving high-value opportunities across the region in alignment with Palladium’s global vision. Senior Associate, Strategy and Partnerships holds a critical role within this team, supporting the development of strategic proposals that shape the future of donor-funded programming in the region. This position benefits from an advanced expertise in proposal design, a nuanced understanding of key clients and the regional political-economic landscape. By leveraging deep sector knowledge and strategic insight, the Senior Associate will play a central role in expanding Palladium’s impact across the region.

Primary Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and help shape new business opportunities by analysing market trends, client priorities, competitive positioning, and strategic growth areas across APAC and global portfolios.
- Lead or support opportunity development strategies, positioning Palladium for success through early engagement, market intelligence, and targeted win strategies.
- Lead and coordinate bid development processes, ensuring opportunities are strategically positioned, appropriately resourced, and managed to successful submission.
- Develop and execute compelling pursuit and tender strategies that clearly articulate Palladium's value proposition, competitive advantages, and client-centred solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, consultants, and industry stakeholders to strengthen Palladium's market intelligence, partnership network, and long-term growth opportunities.
- Engage with Palladium's geographic and technical teams to ensure opportunity strategies and proposals are informed by local insights, implementation experience, and emerging sector trends.
- Establish and manage bid development workplans, timelines, and key milestones, ensuring buy-in and accountability across bid teams, contributors, and reviewers.
Coordinate recruitment and resource mobilisation activities for bids and program implementation, supporting workforce planning and access to the best available expertise.

About You:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- At least three years’ experience working in international development, preferably in donor‑funded or multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of the international development sector and the operating context of donor‑funded programs in the APAC region.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships, with strong networking, collaboration and partnership management skills.
- High level of adaptability and resilience, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and demanding work environments.
- Proven ability to work under tight timelines, manage multiple and simultaneous bids or priorities, and collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising quality.
Strong interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence, sound judgement, and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
