FinXL is seeking a skilled Cost Estimator to provide comprehensive Financial Management services within a fast-paced Product Management Office (PMO). This position plays a critical role in supporting the long-term sustainment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of core IT assets, capabilities, and platforms.
The successful candidate will ensure that ICT sustainment aligns with approved financial profiles, business needs, and the evolving technology market. You will focus on developing multi-year cost management strategies, mitigating financial risks, and delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing robust cost management strategies for Financial Year and multi-year planning cycles.

Creating detailed financial plans and forecasts specifically tailored for ICT sustainment.

Monitoring and managing financial performance closely against approved budgets. Collating and analysing financial data to identify process, service, project, and component costs.
- Producing high-quality financial artefacts and reports to support data-driven decision-making at key governance forums.

Maintaining accurate financial records to ensure strict compliance with all governance, legal, and audit requirements (aligned with SFIA Level 4).

Proactively managing cost risks and escalating critical issues to executive management in a timely manner.

Engaging and collaborating effectively with a diverse range of professional stakeholders.
Technical Skill & Experience:
- Proven experience in developing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts within an ICT environment.

Strong analytical skills with a track record of translating complex financial data into governance-ready reports and artefacts.

Demonstrated ability to monitor budget performance and assist various business areas with financial tasks and cost-reduction strategies.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and engage effectively with executive leadership.
