Job Title: Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Position Overview
This is a rare opportunity to join a next-generation organization during its early stages and make a monumental impact on its long-term trajectory. We are seeking a highly strategic and entrepreneurial Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial architecture, capital allocation, and treasury operations of our growing corporate ecosystem.
Unlike a traditional corporate CFO or VC fund manager, you will not manage a single operating P&L or answer to a fixed-term fund mandate. Instead, you will act as a key strategic partner to the Founder, managing permanent capital, optimizing intercompany liquidity, and maximizing long-term compounding wealth across our entire portfolio of synergistic businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Capital Raising & Capital Structure Strategy: * Lead a continuous, multi-levered fundraising strategy at the parent level.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with permanent capital partners, including family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and strategic corporate investors.
- Evaluate and execute debt financing structures, utilizing the combined balance sheet and cash flows of mature operating businesses to secure expansion capital.
- Capital Allocation & Ecosystem Treasury:
- Partner with the Founder to function as a "Chief Allocation Officer," dynamically routing capital to the highest ROI opportunities across the entire ecosystem.
- Establish and manage the internal financial "plumbing," including intercompany loans, dividend routing, and strategic asset recycling.
- Design and optimize centralized corporate treasury mechanisms to sit on "war chest" cash safely until asymmetric investment opportunities arise.
- Tax Optimization & Intercompany Accounting:
- Structure internal capital movements and asset sales to minimize global tax friction, heavily leveraging mechanisms such as the Participation Exemption to defer or reduce capital gains.
- Design legally compliant and strategic internal transfer pricing frameworks for businesses sharing data, supply chains, or centralized shared services.
- Financial Consolidation & Reporting:
- Oversee complex consolidated financial reporting across a diverse set of operating subsidiaries.
- Position the organization’s financial narrative to optimize market valuation, actively working to eliminate structural discounts and build a valuation premium.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of senior financial leadership, ideally with a background in corporate finance, an investment group, a multi-asset family office, or corporate development (M&A).
- Capital Raising Track Record: Proven experience raising complex equity rounds from institutional or private permanent capital sources, and/or structuring asset-backed debt facilities.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in international tax structuring, intercompany accounting, and group financial consolidation.
- Strategic Mindset: A macroscopic thinker who prioritizes long-term ecosystem growth and continuous compounding over short-term quarterly reporting or artificial 10-year fund exits.
Compensation & Culture
As a founding member of the leadership team, your compensation package is structured to align your personal wealth directly with the long-term compounding growth of the entire ecosystem.
- Deferred Base Salary: To optimize early-stage runway and prioritize direct capital allocation into our operating businesses, a portion of the base salary will be deferred, tied to clear operational milestones or future funding inflows.
- Founding-Member Equity Compensation: You will receive a significant, institutional-grade equity stake at the parent level commensurate with a founding executive. This offers rare exposure to the upside of the entire ecosystem rather than a single business's cap table.
- Performance Bonuses: Discretionary and milestone-driven bonuses mapped to successful capital raises, executed M&A transactions, and overall organizational valuation milestones.
- Workplace Flexibility: This role offers complete Work From Home (WFH) flexibility. We operate on a results-oriented work environment where your physical location matters far less than your strategic output.
- Extreme Autonomy: You will answer directly to the Founder and the Board. You will enjoy absolute operational autonomy to build out the financial architecture, recruit your own treasury team, and implement the internal systems you see fit without layers of legacy bureaucracy.
Application Process
Note on Recruitment: To ensure we are bringing on the right strategic fit for our unique corporate DNA, all qualified candidates will be required to complete a diagnostic questionnaire as part of the initial recruitment process. This assessment is designed to gauge your alignment with long-term permanent capital structures, complex capital allocation scenarios, and our organizational culture.
